About me

Grown up in down-to-earth Zeeland, at 18 years old I decided to move to Amsterdam for my studies. My interests have always been very broad, so I found it difficult to choose what to study. I decided to apply for a Liberal Arts & Sciences program because it allowed me to combine different disciplines. Ultimately, I graduated summa cum laude in economics and mathematics, and after two gap years I decided to pursue a master’s degree in quantitative finance and graduated in 2021.

My experience

Even though I really enjoyed solving mathematical and financial problems during my studies, in the workplace this was not the case. I was not enjoying it and realised that I’m not someone who can stare at a computer screen for 40 hours a week. I missed a purpose and meaning and wanted to do something with people’s health.

Because I was not feeling well, I slowly started to develop several physical and mental problems. After a year of struggling, I suddenly found myself at home with a burnout and depression. I noticed that my physical health was deteriorating enormously and I did not understand why healthcare no longer looks at complaints from a holistic point of view. I started to improve my health in small steps with nutrition, meditation, yoga and energetic work, and I quickly realized that I also wanted to help others in this.

The magic of NEI therapy

I discovered NEI therapy and started my training for NEI therapist, so that I could heal myself energetically. Against all expectations, I achieved one result after another and suddenly felt much better in a short time. People around me who had been my test clients also ‘suddenly’ got rid off their complaints. I didn’t understand that something so powerfully healing is still undiscovered by the public. Because I’m 100% convinced that NEI therapy is useful for everyone, I decided to start my own business. I truly hope that with my enthusiasm, my own experience, and skills, I can help as many people, so that everyone can start (Cin)shining again!
